基于IR3521设计的AMD SVID电源技术

IR3521具有两个转换器输出,可用于AMD处理器VDD核和VDDNB辅助平面,整个系统设定点精度为0.5%. IR3521集成xPHASE3TM 相IC,提供了整个系统控制以及任意数量的相IC 接口,并监测单相电源,从而实现了完整的AMD SVID电源解决方案.本文介绍了IR3521主要特性,方框图,以及应用电路图和双输出AMD SVID转换器电路图.
The IR3521 Control IC combined with an xPHASE3TM Phase IC provides a full featured and flexible way to implement a complete AMD SVID power solution. It provides outputs for both the VDD core and VDDNB auxiliary planes required by the CPU. The IR3521 provides overall system control and interfaces with any number of Phase ICs each drivin功率电感器g and monitoring a single phase. The xPHASE3TM architecture results in a power supply that is smaller, less expensive, and easier to design while providing higher efficiency than conventional approaches.
